Meanwhile, Robert Snell of the Detroit News reports that prosecutors have no plans to call Christine Beatty to testify against Kwame, her former lover.  Snell writes that there had been speculation that Beatty, considered by many to be the most powerful person in Kilpatrick's inner circle, would take the stand.
