Ok, we all know there's always a possibility of encountering weirdness of some sort at a local Walmart.

But this is up there.

The Oakland Press reports that a woman claimed she was poked with a syringe needle while trying on pants at a Rochester Hills Walmart on S. Adams Road. The incident happened March 21.

Now, authorities say the syringe contained some old heroin, but no traces of blood.

Authorities aren't sure how the syringe was attached to the pants, but they were trying to trace the origin of the pants.
“I was floored,” the 46-year-old Waterford Township woman said.

The Oakland Press reported that the woman said she was pulling on a pair of pants when she felt something stick her left leg.

She was given a tetanus shot at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland in Pontiac.  -- A.L.
