Let's face it, there have been crazier ideas as of late.
WWJ reports that Detroit resident Cindy Dahra told the City Council on Monday she has a great money-making idea: Turn the Belle Isle Casino into a lounge for medical marijuana patients.
“My plan is to have a vapor lounge, a marijuana vapor lounge, on the second floor of the casino with an internet cafe. I’ve been to one of these in Toronto -- Lake Shore -- and it’s very pleasant,” said Dahra, according to WWJ.
The council received her as if she was Gov. Rick Snyder. In other words, with not much regard.
After a "thank you," the council moved on to its next agenda item.
