The frustration is obvious. Gas station manager Saber Haida is at wits' end. WXYZ reporter Simon Shaykhet calls it a "disgrace." And anchor Caroyln Clifford said during Thursday night's broadcast:  "This is ridiculous."

Shaykhet reports that thieves just keep coming into the Shell gas station store at Warren and Southfield and walking out with handfuls of products. They do it in front of the employees, who are armed but told to stay behind the glass, and they're caught on security video.

Yet, police have been unable to do anything.

Deputy Police Chief Steve Dolunt tells WXYZ police will do something. But so far, no arrests.

Meanwhile, the thefts continue.

Shaykhet reported Thursday that in three days there have been thefts by three people,  including one who stole boxes of snacks costing the business hundreds of dollars.

Shaykhet reports that the station manager fears at some point there could be some gun violence.
