April Millsap Was Struck and Choked to Death

The public knew the death of April Millsap, 14, of Armada was a homicide.

But now people know how she died.

WDIV repprts that she died from blunt head trauma and asphyxia due to neck compression, according to her death certificate. In other words, she was struck and choked to death.

She was found dead along the Macomb Orchard Trail on July 24.

The Macomb Daily reported:

The task force investigating the slaying of April Millsap in Armada has been quietly working “behind the scenes,” a spokesman said in an email Wednesday.
