Aretha Franklin made history Sunday night at the White House when she suffered a major, some might say epic, wardrobe malfunction.
Franklin was attending a reception connected to the Kennedy Center Honors when the upper half of her pink gown slid down to her waist, exposing what a Franklin representative called “her foundation-wearing girls in all their Victoria’s Secret glory!”
B.J. Hammerstein in the Free Pres reports Franklin’s unnamed escort sprang into action and guiding her to a tented area where they rehooked the gown.
No word on whether there were any sightings by President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama, nor 2012 honorees Buddy Guy, Dustin Hoffman, David Letterman, Natalia Makarova and the members of Led Zeppelin.
