Today is “Thou Shall Not Kill Day” in Detroit. In fact, by City Council proclamation, the 22nd of every month has been Thou Shall Not Kill Day for the last two years.
Just so we’re clear, when Almighty God himself sets down the prohibition against killing and has Moses deliver the message from on high, people mostly consider that a suggestion. When the Detroit City Council (praised be Their name) says Thou Shall Not Kill, the people are supposed to understand this isn't a request?
