Tamara Greene
Well, this should be interesting.
Carol Teegardin, a former gossip columnist for The Detroit News and Free Press, has written a drama on the controversy surrounding the death of exotic dancer Tamara Greene (aka Strawberry) and a rumored party at the Manoogian mansion involving Kwame Kilpatrick, Dave LewAllen of WXYZ reports.
The play will be staged at the Marygrove College Theatre on Sept. 25-27 and Oct. 2- Auditions will be in July, WXYZ reports. The play is adapted from Teegarden's book, "Strawberry."
Greene was murdered in a drive-by shooting in 2003.

The most incredible plot is a simple one: She is said to have danced at a party at the mayor's mansion and was executed because she knew too much.
The party, of course, has never been proven, and the facts about Greene, as told by investigators, friends and family members,reveal something far less sinister. A portrait emerges of a woman who ran with bad men and died with two black eyes.
