Heroin: Old Drug Causing New Problems in Metro Detroit

Heroin, often considered an old school drug, is wreaking some havoc in Metro Detroit.

WXYZ reports that at least have reported problems of late with overdoses.

In Washtenaw County, WXYZ reports that  health officials say there were at least eight heroin overdoses including a death during a recent two-day span. 

The station also reported that Oakland County is also reporting an increase in overdoses. And in Wayne County,
Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital reported a 20-fold increase in overdoses.
