Lions coach Jim Schwartz, who helped transform a big-time loser team into respectable competitor, has signed a multi-year contract extension, the Detroit Lions website reported.
The site, citing unnamed sources, reported that Schwartz, 46, was entering his final year of a four-year contract. Details of the new contract were not provided.
“The next time I comment on my contract will be the first time,” Schwartz has said a number of times, according to the site.
