The green and white football squad continues to make its mark.
Michigan State University is ranked #2 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll, trailing only Ohio State. MSU jumped from #4. It was ranked #5 before the season began.
AP reports that the Buckeyes received 40 first-place votes, compred to seven for MSU. It was the program's highest AP ranking since it finished the 1966 season at No. 2, the Detroit Free Press reports.
