Turned Away From DPD Station, Victim Is Then Shot By Boyfriend

Andrea Isom reports that a Detroit woman was turned away from a Detroit Police precinct, where she went to report an abusive boyfriend.

Then he shot her.

Chanita Vincent says the officer told her to use the crime reporting phone, which is part of the city's virtual precinct operation. But she says she arrived before the precinct shut down for the night.
